Andirons

Grates and Grills offer a wide variety of andirons in various styles, finishes and sizes. Manufacturers such as Portland, Sunset, Pilgrim and Minuteman are available and over 65 andirons are on display. (Additional quantities are in stock.)

Andirons act as an effective safeguard against logs rolling out of the fireplace. Typically the andirons match the style and finish of the screen and fireset. As a rule of thumb, an andiron should not be more than 2/3 the height of the fireplace opening.
